Universal Machine Troubleshooter (uMT),  is a registered computer program based on artificial intelligence for the automatic diagnosis of the root cause of downed or malfunctioning equipment, it learns from the behavior of the machine in normal operation by creating a database of the Historical knowledge of the process or machine learning in order to identify the specific cause of the failure in the machine, so a Digital Twin of the machine is created.

By correctly using this program in an automated control, the traditional method of fault finding by an experienced technician is replaced by an automated method that drastically reduces the diagnosis time of faults in downed machines based on PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) that uses any communication protocol.

The fault diagnosis time in PLC-based automated equipment is reduced by applying artificial intelligence with the training of a 4-layer neural network and a database records learned, the effectiveness in the correct detection is 93.33%.
